How We Got Saved

How I Got Saved! Written By Emma Jo Gray

And do not be fashioned according to this age, but be transformed by the renewing
of the mind that you may prove what the will of God is,
that which is good and well pleasing and perfect.

(Romans 12:2)

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes, and that included me.
My Salvation experience was very simple.  I was only 10 years old, but I was a very stubborn and rebellious child.  I can remember my mother would correct me for something, and I would go three days without speaking a word to her. Spiteful.  But in the meantime, I had sisters and brothers that did go to church, and my one older sister told me how the Lord could change my life, even though I was just a child.
I remember giving my life to the Lord, and He did change me.  From then on every time I began to disobey my mother or rebel, there was always something in me that would whisper to me.
I've not been perfect.  I've left Him many times, but, praise the Lord, He's never left me.
